Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Golden Retriever | Male | neutered | 9 years old | 80 lbs

I’m concerned because my dog threw up this morning and refused to eat his food. The consistency of the vomit is what concerns me the first pile was Slimy, and the second one was foamy. There was some blood in both of them and my dogs stomach is making a lot of noises

I hate to hear Jedi is sick. Vomiting blood is always concerning and any pet who is vomiting blood needs to be examined by the veterinarian today. Vomiting blood could be due to severe vomiting, a stomach ulcer, cancer, poisoning or a foreign object in the stomach. I hope they figure out the cause quickly and that Jedi responds to treatment fast. I hope this helps.
