My cat has anxiety & bladder issues. Should I give them anxiety meds?

My cat has seemed to have anxiety which has resulted in inflammation of the bladder in the past. Do you think it would be appropriate to put them on a chronic anxiety prescription? Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 12 lbs
