My dog won't cuddle with me. Why does he prefer my husband instead?

Rescue dog with three classes under his belt including canine good citizen. Home is Dad, Mom, adult daughter and teenage son. Mom: I am dog's favorite person, supposedly, but he doesn't cuddle with me like everyone else. He likes it in my husband's and my bedroom but he gets under the bed on my side and stays there... Unless my husband gets in bed, then he'll come out from under the bed to cuddle with him. When I call him over to cuddle with me it's back under the bed. What's wrong?? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | neutered | 1 year and 10 months old | 65 lbs
