My bulldog's eye has a bleeding growth and is red. What to do?

Pet's info: Dog | Bulldog | Male | neutered | 8 years and 6 months old | 65 lbs

My English bulldog has a growth in the outer corner of his eye. It bleeds some times and the eye is red. Any ideas?

Hi and thanks for posting on Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Eye lid masses cause trouble when they rub up against the cornea of the eye and cause eye infections or corneal damage. Sounds like it is causing the eye to become irritated for Winston. When this happens, it is generally recommended to get the mass removed surgically. I hope this helps!
