Why won't my golden retriever eat dog food but eats other things?

Hi, my golden retriever is not eating dog food from past 20 days. Except dog food he eats pretty much everything. He got a hairline fracture in front right leg but he was still eating almost 300gms of food happily. But now this isn't the case anymore. What do i do? Pet's info: Dog | Golden Retriever | Male | unneutered | 7 months and 12 days old | 22.046 lbs

Hi, and thanks for your question. This is a very concerning presentation. Differentials are many, from gastrointestinal diseases (infection/inflammations often dietary related) to any disease that can spread systemically (causing lethargy for example) like infection, and anything that can cause pain/discomfort. An immediate check up is needed as persistent inappetence could deteriorate his clinical condition rapidly.
