My healthy 6-year-old cat is not using his litter box. Why?

Hello , My name is Mel , i have two male cats one is 1 year old and other 6 year old ... my 6 year old been peeping and pooping outside the littler lately ,,,,, he been tested and great news everything was Negative .. but here my problem he still not using littler ....... any ideas? Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | 8.9 lbs
