My healthy 6-year-old cat is not using his litter box. Why?

Hello , My name is Mel , i have two male cats one is 1 year old and other 6 year old ... my 6 year old been peeping and pooping outside the littler lately ,,,,, he been tested and great news everything was Negative .. but here my problem he still not using littler ....... any ideas?

Thank you for submitting your question regarding King. I recommend having a minimum of three litter boxes for two cats. Cats typically prefer uncovered boxes and they to be quite large. The boxes should be in separate, quiet places for him to feel safe using them. You can try a new litter substrate in one box to see if he prefers something different. I hope this information helps!
