Puppy with Giardia won't drink water. How can I get him to drink?

My 4 month old puppy is being treated for Giardia. He is eating fine but stopped drinking from his water bowl. I used another bowl and he drank from it once or twice last night, but this AM he sniffs around the bowl, the bowl & water but won’t drink. I put some chicken broth in the water which worked at first but he’s back to nit drinking again. I have 2 bowls set out for him - one metal and one ceramic. How can I get him back to drinking? I’ve been using filtered water & tried bottled water.

Is he eating? Is he acting energetic? If he is eating and acting normally, I wouldn't be too concerned--he's likely getting enough fluids. He's pretty small so it won't necessarily look like much is gone from the bowl. However, if he doesn't want to eat or if he seems to be feeling dumpy, take him to your vet for an exam.
