How to safely remove worms from my planted aquarium without chemicals?

Can we treat this type of crawling worms in my planted aquarium tank in the soil substrate ? Can we remove by (Fenbendazole 150mg. Tablet) ? Someone suggested me ...we treat by Fenbendazole 250mg in 60 litre water tank ? We should know that if we used fenbendazole tablet for deworming purpose in my tank , so my fish can died by Fenbendazole ?

Thanks for reaching out about your aquarium. Fenbendazole can be dangerous to use. The likely worms are not parasitic but commensals living in the detritus of the substrate. When doing water changes, try vacuuming the gravel/bottom, as this is likely where the eggs are hatching. Try controlling in this manner prior to adding chemicals/drugs. Adding some snails or fish that will feed on the worms might also aid in control. Good luck.
