My dog's paw has a popped bump. Is it a blister? What to do?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | French Bulldog | Male | unneutered | 1 year and 1 month old | 6 lbs

We found a bump on the back of our French Dog’s paw. It looks like a blister or pimple. . It could be a splinter or small torn that has lodged in the paw. We used a small needle to pop out and have the fluid ooze out. Can you determine what this could be? Anything we need to do and/ put on it? Thanks.

As you mentioned it could be a splinter, maybe a grass seed, but it could also be a hot spot which is usually triggered by an allergic reaction. at the moment from the pictures it looks fine, i would just monitor it for now.
