How to care for my senior dog's large, bleeding skin growth?

Hi, my dog (17 1/2 year old Maltese) has several warts but there is one growth in particular that is huge. It scabs over. After bathing scab comes off and bleeds a lot. i use Chlorhexidine solution on it twice a day. But it looks horrible. What can I do? Pet's info: Dog | Maltese | Female | 17 years and 6 months old | 5.4 lbs
