What kind of palm tree is this and is it safe for my dog to be around?

Was hoping you could help me identify the type of palm tree this is and if it’s safe for dogs? I know it isn’t a sago. The seeds dropping from it are about a third of the size of a dime and have a blue/black tint. Pet's info: Dog | Pembroke Welsh Corgi | Male | neutered | 1 year and 10 months old | 27.4 lbs

It looks like it could be a California Fan Palm. These are the only palm trees native to California. You can contact the local garden center or Extension Office for confirmation. The seeds/fruit are not known to be toxic, but could cause stomach upset if large amounts are ingested.
