My dog has a bowel blockage. How to give mineral oil if she won't eat?

My baby has a blockage in her bowels the vet wants to do surgery but I don't have 5000 dollars for it they suggested mineral oil in her food to try to move the blockage along but she won't eat anything. She is drinking water but won't eat. Can I administer the mineral oil a diffrent way? Other than food. Pet's info: Dog | Beagle | Female | spayed | 3 years and 9 months old | 47 lbs
