Why is my 12-year-old cat drowsy, drinking lots, and acting odd?

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 13 years old | 17 lbs

My 12 year old Tabby Cat I found him on my driveway and he is drowsy and I think he is old age yesterday he drank so much and today he is drowsy i have wrapped him in blanket and conforted him as much as possible he lets me touch whiskers and clap tail *not before)

This degree of weakness and behaviour change is very concerning and likely to indicate severe injury or illness,especially in light of the sudden increase in thirst. An urgent vet check and urine or blood test would be recommended to identify the underlying cause. Although he is not very old for a cat you should be prepared for potentially bad news given the severity of his symptoms
