Is it safe to give flea medicine to a dog with stitches and on antibiotics?

Hi my dog got a tack by other dog he got stiches and drinking antibiotic my question is can i give hem the pill for fleas o i need to wait

Flea medication should be fine to give as long as you're not placing a topical directly on or near any wounded areas as the medication will stay on the skin and can seep into the wound causing irritation, and as long as Goofy is not vomiting and able to keep down meds if you're giving a pill.
