Pet's info: Dog | Siberian Husky | Female
My male husky got out of his crate and got my female pregnant on October 15th. Today would be day 70. Her temp has been at 99.1 since yesterday morning. Vet confirmed it is a real pregnancy (4+ pups) and not a phantom one. Puppies are still moving around. Should I take her to the vet given that she’s almost technically overdue?

Average gestation period is anywhere from 58-72 days with an average of 65 days, so technically she is not overdue, just longer than the average. I would continue to monitor since she is not showing any signs of being in distress or trouble. If she goes past day 72, then certainly it is worthwhile getting her seen by your vet to ensure the puppies are still healthy and to consider a c-section. Best wishes and take care. : )
