Pet's info: Dog | Dachshund | Male | unneutered | 2 months and 13 days old | 4 lbs

My 3 month old puppy wont drink water and throws up once every night. He will have water if it is in with his food but not on it's own. The vets have done X-Rays and other tests and cant find any issue.

As long as he is urinating 3-4 times a day then he is getting enough water input. If you cut back on the water in his food, he will likely start to drink more. Also if you happen to be feeding wet food, this will also decrease how much water he is drinking. It is good that the vet can’t find anything wrong. I would then consider acid reflux as the possible cause for his night time vomiting and recommend asking your vet for acid reflux medication to see if there is any improvement. Also you should consider a food brand change if he is currently on a lower to mid quality food. My top suggestions for brands are: Royal Canin, Hills Science Diet, Eukanuna or Purina. I hope that things work out well for Dex moving forward. Take care!
