My kitten has red, goopy eyes with green discharge. What's wrong?

my kitten 3 & 4 months old, the rim around their eyes are red and they have a green discharge and im unsure how many drops of tears naturale artificial tears to give them

Hi, and thanks for your question. That is likely to be due to a mild to moderate conjunctivitis, probably secondary to an infection. A check up would be needed as appropriate treatment would include antibiotics and anti-inflammatory eye drops. Corneal injuries must be ruled out as well. Artificial tears won't help much unfortunately at this stage.
