Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Boxer | Male | neutered | 3 years and 6 months old | 60 lbs

My dog has been in the yard most the day where they were cutting up wood and there has been a lot of sawdust, his eyes are inflamed and red don’t know if it’s allergies or something else I should be concerned about. He looks like he has difficultly opening his eyes.

Those eyes look pretty irritated, and I would be concerned there is a scratch or injury/reaction to the eye from the dust. I would try to keep the eyes cleaned and clear, and if they continued to swell or don't improve, seek veterinary care to treat any allergic reactions or injuries.
