Is my rescue cat a Snowshoe? His coat changed color as he grew.

I wanted to know if my cat is an actual Snowshoe. I got him from a stranger, not sure of his (my cat) or her (stranger) background, as a kitten. He was all white and fluffy with brown points on his nose, ears, and tail. He's now a year old and has a darker coat with an inverted "v" on face, but no white blaze. He's energetic, sweet, and semi vocal. I just have to know for sure. Thank you for your time. Pet's info: Cat | Snowshoe | Male | unneutered | 1 year and 1 month old | 8 lbs

It would be hard to tell from photos alone as cats of many breeds can have similar markings, and mixed breed cats may take on the markings of another breed. There are some genetic/DNA tests available for breed panels that may be useful, otherwise it'd just be a guess without knowing your cat's parental history.
