My cat has FIP but is playing and eating. Is the diagnosis wrong?

Hi, my cat was recently diagnosed with fip but since his bloods were taken and his temperature last checked he has been on loxicom and seems so much better he seems like himself and is running about playing and eating loads, is there a chance that the bloods are showing something else and not fip?

It is surely possible that the diagnosis is incorrect if he is doing this well with just an NSAID. Most pets require intensive care and the prognosis for survival is very low in pets truly FIP positive. I hope that things continue to go well for Ferb moving forward. Best wishes and take care. : )
