Pet's info: Cat | Persian | Male | unneutered | 2 years and 2 months old
My cat has been prescribed 600mg lincocin for his wound infection. He has been having diarrhoea since. Sometimes watery sometimes normal. He has alot of milk too and bland chicken meat. Today he only had milk and when I picked him up he had a few drops of diarrhoea here and there. I'm really worried. When he walks he drops some here and there too. What should I do? Is it a side effect or might be because he has had only milk today?

Poor guy. It sounds like your little guy is having an adverse reaction to the medication. He needs to be seen for a rechk by your vet right away to have the diarrhea addressed and then to get him on an alternate medication that will hopefully agree with his system more. There are other medications that are a bit safer for cats that your vet can hopefully prescribe for him, depending on the type of infection he has. Until you can get him in to be seen its best to start some probiotics. You can start over the counter Culturelle and this can help restore some of his natural GI flora and can help some with the diarrhea as well until you can get him in to your vet. I hope that Zakoota's diarrhea resolves soon! Best wishes and take care. : )
