Can laser & hydrotherapy help my dog's arthritis, hip dysplasia, CCL?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Female | spayed | 5 years old | 85 lbs

I was curious to know what you think of laser therapy and hydrotherapy for an old ccl injury with arthritis and hip dysplasia. It is very expensive, but if there's a good chance it may help I'll do it. She limps periodically and I want to improve her quality of life. What are your thoughts? Thanks in advance.

There have been studies that have shown laser therapy and hydrotherapy can help, especially hydrotherapy. It's a great way to build muscle without a big amount of strain on the joints. I have heard success stories from other vets in regards to laser therapy. I think it's worth trying!
