Why are all my dogs suddenly having seizures? What's the common cause?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Caucasian Ovcharka | Male | unneutered | 1 year and 10 months old | 120 lbs

I have three dogs...ovcharka, akita, and malinois. They all started getting stick and having seizures at the same time...like about 4 months ago. I've taken them to the vet and had full panels but no luck....I'm looking for a common denominator. I've made sure there is no monoxide leak in the house and I'm not sure where to go from here. Can you help?

Intoxication with meds and poisoning are a main concern in these cases. Medications would include cyclic antidepressants, cocaine and other stimulants, diphenhydramine and other antihistamines; theophyiline and isoniazid.
