Why does my dog have black spots, hair loss, and extreme itching?

My 3 year old German shepherd has black little spots that look like moles and hair loss with extreme itching. Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Female | unspayed

There may be microscopic mites or an allergic reaction. The vet can look at the skin under the microscope if necessary and get her medications to help with the scratching.
