My dog's Frontline Plus isn't lasting. Can I use Capstar for fleas?

I use Frontline Plus spot on flea treatment on my dog for flea control. One dose is supposed to last for 30 days, but recently I noticed that after about 12-15 days my dog starts getting fleas again. Is it safe to use Capstar (nitenpyram) oral flea tablets in between doses of Frontline Plus? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | unneutered | 2 years and 4 months old | 49 lbs

Capstar can safely be used with Frontline. That said, switching to a different topical (they can become ineffective after a while of use) or addressing the house, bedding, etc for places flea eggs can sit may help reduce reinfestation in the future.
