My cat isn't peeing much & meows a lot. Liver or gallbladder issue?

What are common diseases with the liver or the gall bladder? My cat seems to not go to the washroom that much and meows a lot. What are some home remedies I can do to figure out the problem and overall hell him a little? Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 9 lbs

Hello. The most common disease is cholangitis/cholangiohepatitis. Most simply, this is a case where bacteria can back up from the intestines into the biliary tree affecting the gallbladder & often the surrounding liver. This can & will make a cat extremely sick & without immediate & aggressive treatment, will probably not survive.
