My cat isn't peeing much & meows a lot. Liver or gallbladder issue?

What are common diseases with the liver or the gall bladder? My cat seems to not go to the washroom that much and meows a lot. What are some home remedies I can do to figure out the problem and overall hell him a little?

Hello. The most common disease is cholangitis/cholangiohepatitis. Most simply, this is a case where bacteria can back up from the intestines into the biliary tree affecting the gallbladder & often the surrounding liver. This can & will make a cat extremely sick & without immediate & aggressive treatment, will probably not survive. There really is nothing you can do for him at home other than seek veterinary assistance as soon as possible. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
