Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | spayed | 2 years and 6 months old | 52 lbs
I recently got my dogs allergy results in, and switched her food immediately. It's been two days on the new food, and it seems that her face scratching has gotten worse. I have medications for her, but was told to use it only when needed. Do the allergies get worse before getting better? Typically how long does it take for the allergy symptoms to go away?

Allergies would not be expected to get worse during recovery but without full allergy report and food breakdown it is impossible to predict what might be happening. Please feel free to repost again with more information and give her the symptomatic treatment to reduce current discomfort until long term management is achieved
