Why does my puppy cry and run when touched after cat attack?

Hello. So, my dog, JP, has recently been attacked by a cat. He was fine and I gave him food. Soon after, my maid pet him and he started crying and ran away. Whenever I try to approach him he cries and runs. This makes me upset because nothing like this has ever happened. And JP is a month old Chihuahua, by the way. Please help, I'm concerned. Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua | Male | unneutered | 1 month and 15 days old

Given his age, he should be physically examined by your veterinarian. It is possible he was bitten or scratched and now has pain or infection associated with the wound. Coax him into a carrier using a favorite snack and have him seen today if possible.
