Why isn't my dog's C-section incision healing after 3 weeks?

Hi my dog undergone C section most of the stitch are healed except for about 1cm and its red it's not fully closed. Does it need to be restitched again? Surgery was done Nov 21 , stitches were removed after 10 days. It's about 3 wks now and a tiny part hasn't fully closed

Have her rechecked by your veterinarian. The site should have been fully healed by now unless she has been licking it or overly active. Place an e-collar (cone) on her and restrict activity to just leash walks for elimination until she sees the doctor. A staple, suture or glue may be applied once any infection or trauma has been ruled out by the vet.
