What's that thing in my dog's eye? Is it a scar or serious problem?

Pet's info: Dog | Coton de Tulear | Male | neutered | 16 lbs

Hi. I noticed something in my dog’s eye and I can’t see what it exactly is. It seems to be a scar but I’m not sure. My dog doesn’t have any symptoms and he doesn’t seem to be in pain. Is it a scar or something else? Is it serious? Thank you.

It's hard to tell if that is a hair or problem with the cornea/lens. If it is new or changing, it would be best to have a vet take a look at it -- they can stain it with a special dye to check if it is a cut or abrasion and requires treatment.
