Budgie car sickness, nail trims, and finding an avian vet near me?

Hi I would like to know if you bring you budgie to the vet in a car can they get travel sickness and do you have to go to the vet to cut your birds nails and what budgie vet would you recommend as I can't find any. Pet's info: Bird | Parakeet | Male

Hello. Yes, birds can get car sick & may regurgitate from the crop. Covering the cage & placing it on the floor may help. There are some veterinarians that do make house calls, so you can see if there are any in your area. I do not have access to a list of veterinarians in your country, but start by calling those around you. Trimming nails is pretty simple, so even a non bird expert may be able to help you.
