Why is my kitten vomiting tapeworms, wobbling, and not eating?

A kitty of 8 months. There was foam like thing was coming from his mouth. He was wobbling and he kept on hiding to some quite place. He's urine was of yellow colour, semi dark. And he vomited yellow liquid along with a big tapeworm. I tried feeding him but he didn't eat anything. Nor water. I don't know what happened to him. Can u help?.

Hi, and thanks for your question. These signs could be compatible with an inflammation infection of the gastrointestinal system and surrounding organs (like pancreas and liver). Parasite infestation in the gastrointestinal system is definitively possible. A clinical examination at your local veterinarian is immediately essential to confirm these clinical suspicions and treat appropriately. Antibiotics and possibly further investigations (like abdominal imaging as ultrasound or radiographs) may be needed.     Extremely large intestinal parasite burdens can cause the symptoms you have described. Passing dead worms means there are a whole bunch more where they came from! I would recommend discussing deworming and blood testing with your vet. Some of the parasites can cause anemia and low protein levels, which will allow fluid to leak out of the blood vessels and into the abdomen. Deworming should be done carefully, as sudden death of large numbers of worms in sick patients can cause obstruction or other life-threatening issues.
