Updated On September 23rd, 2025

My cat got a fever today and she doesnt eat anything for the whole day.I only tried feeding her water and she refused to eat any type of food.Im unable to go to the vet because of the price. But I have this specific milk replacement for cats that I bought from pet shop frw months ago. Some vet said that u cant give cat milk but the milk that I bought said that it is only used for kittens, pregnant/lactating cats and also sick cats.So should I actually give my cat milk? Sheis also nursing kittens

Milk replacement for cats is fine to give her, but please know it's very serious when a cat won't eat. If they go long enough without eating (about 72 hours), they will develop a fatty liver. A fatty liver is fatal without treatment. You need to take her into a vet now, especially since she is nursing kittens. She may have a severe post-partum illness. Take her kittens with you to the vet.
