Hi my dog has a red itchy rash she continuously has been licking. It's shining because I applied coconut oil and apple cider vinegar to it. Just seemed like something that might help. She's 2 years old lab and terrier mix

I don't think coconut oil and vinegar will be helpful. I suggest you use this medicated spray on the affected areas once per day. If after 5-7 days there is minimal to no improvement then Lucy should see a vet. Hope this helps. Best wishes! Hi Susan. This really looks like a flea allergy. I know you have him on Advantix but it may not be working well for him anymore. Keep that in mind. You may want to consider switching to a different product. For now you need to get an E-collar on him to stop the licking and scratching. If you don't, no matter what you apply to that area, it won't heal with him licking/scratching at it. I suggest you try this Vetericyn spray product 3-4 times per day. If after about 5 days it is not getting better then you will need to have a vet look at him. Hope this helps!
