My dog's stomach is rumbling and he won't poop. What should I do?

It may be Pantoulis is a bit constipated or has an upset stomach. If he didn't poop once, I wouldn't be too worried. Keep an eye on him for now. If he hasn't pooped in another 24-48 hours, then have him seen by a vet.

I am very concerned about Pilly, it sounds like he has a very upset stomach! My top concern would be a blockage in his intestines caused by something that he ate, like a toy, bone, sock, trash, etc. This would also prevent food from moving through his system and turning into feces. Other possibilities include bacterial or viral infection, intestinal parasites, or other internal issue. I recommend that Pilly see a vet as soon as possible. Your vet will probably recommend x-rays and maybe even blood work depending on what they discover during the physical exam.

My dog seems to have a stomache ache. Maybe constipation? What can I do?
Poor Pita! If you are concerned he is constipated, I can give you a home remedy to try to help him. Constipation can be caused by anal sac impaction, intestinal parasites, a foreign body, too little fiber in the diet, lack of exercise, or even tumors in the GI tract. I recommend giving him a tablespoon of canned pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie filling) mixed in with his food to see if that helps. If he is still constipated in 24-48 hours, he will need to see a vet as he will likely need a laxative or an enema. Your vet can diagnose the cause of the constipation as well. If he is pooping normally, then I would try a bland diet to see if that helps his stomach. Withhold food for 12-24 hours, then feed a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) and white rice in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in his normal diet. If Pita still isn't feeling better on this bland diet, or she develops other signs such as vomiting, diarrhea, anor

Sometimes pups do not poop as often as usual. I would not be worried yet. In case of a foreign body ingestion and blockage, a dog usually gets diarrhea first (the body is trying to get rid of the foreign body), then that stops and the dog will start to vomit and retch and get lethargic. Not pooping on time is not something to get worried about yet. You can feed a little bit of canned pumpkin to ease defecation. Going for a walk helps also. Should Rocky not have had a bowel movement by tomorrow, he is likely constipated and will have to be seen by your vet.

My dais who is half German Shepherd and half Black lab won’t eat and won’t poop and there are squeaky sounds coming from his stomach maybe.
Hades is experiencing very general symptoms of disease, these symptoms could fit almost any internal condition, maybe he is suffering from nausea due to a gastrointestinal disease and maybe he is in pain, from the symptoms described it's very hard to know. i would recommend taking him to the vet as soon as possible in order to get him checked, if he doesn't show any other obvious symptoms during the examination, a blood test and possibly an ultrasound will be needed in order to try and find out what is wrong with Hades.

My dogs stomach is making weird gurgling noises and he won't eat. It usually will last about a day and a half or so sometimes less.
If Ruckis is still having this issue then I recommend a visit with your veterinarian to make sure he doesn't have an intestinal upset. I would recommend trying to gradually transition him to a sensitive stomach diet if this is something that continually happens. Thank you for using Boop by Petco.

If she is eating, drinking, going to the bathroom normally, and is otherwise fine, no you don't need to bring her into a vet right away. She may just have a rumbly tummy. I'd keep an eye on her for now, and if she does start showing other signs, then I would take her into the vet. I hope this helps!

Some kind of sound is coming out from my Pomeranian's belly.. She's not even eating or drinking anything... And she didn't even pooped or peed from yesterday... What's the matter???
She might have eaten something spoiled that is causing this. withhold food for 12 hours then offer her boiled boneless chicken and rice every 6 hours in small portions. if she is eating and not vomiting, continue with this diet for 2 days. After 2 days, you can put her back gradually on her normal food. If she is not eating, take her to the vet to get treatment.

You should monitor him closely and if it continues than he should be examined by a vet to determine if he is constipated, especially if he starts vomitng. If he is not in a confined space, maybe he went somewhere and you just haven't discovered it, yet.

Poor Charlie! Feed him a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in his normal diet. If the loose stool continues on the bland diet, he starts vomiting food, stops drinking water, starts vomiting water, or becomes very lethargic, he will need to see a vet right away. Best of luck.
