Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua (Smooth Coat) | Female | spayed | 8 months and 24 days old | 3.3 lbs
Two weeks ago my boyfriend fed my chihuahua almost a whole piece of orange, which looking back on was not a good idea. Since then her tummy has seemed to be very upset. She’s had very liquidity poop, almost like diarrhea since then and hasn’t stopped. We’ve had to change her blankets in her bed almost every night because they’ve been covered in poo. I’ve only been feeding her regular food, no treats/people food, and her poo is still this runny consistency. Should we be taking her to the vet?

Poor pup! Yes, if she's been having diarrhea for two weeks now without significant improvement, I would definitely recommend taking her to the vet. He/she can check a fecal exam or do some other testing if needed to help determine what's wrong and get her started on appropriate medication to get the diarrhea under control.
