My dog cut his paw. When is it safe for him to run, jump, and play?

Hi, my dog cut his paw from running/jumping. Given the location of the laceration-where the pad meets the flesh-- will there be any complications? i.e reopen wound from abrasion or exerting pressure? The staples came out so I assume short walks are fine. Is the wound still susceptible to infection? When is it safe for him to run and jump again. Thank you!

The wound is healing but it will take some weeks (two possibly ) to heal up completely. I would recommend rest as much as possible and continue disinfection. The wound is still susceptible to infection at this stage so basic hygiene should be maintained.
