My senior dog is weak, vomiting, and has white gums. What's wrong?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Boxer | Female | spayed | 9 years and 10 months old | 40 lbs

I have a 9 year old Boxer mix F spay, last three days she has dropped in weight, having trouble getting up moving around. Last night she ate but v+ up everything she do eat. No D+ just vomit. This am no appetite, only wanting water small amounts I’m giving, her pinnea is white and her gums are white. She doesn’t seem bloated, she is very slinder in her waist. She is lethargic this am as well not walking hardly at all without help. I have her covered to stay warm she was cold to touch

I am so sorry to hear that your pet Kitana is so ill. Her white gums and pinna indicates that she is in shock either due to blood loss, red blood cell destruction or some other underlying illness. She needs to be seen immediately by your nearest vet. Hopefully this is something that is reversible and she can recover soon! I wish you all the best moving forward. Best of luck and take care! : )
