My dog has a dark itchy spot and is scooting. Should I see a vet?

My dog has had this dark spot around her genital area for a couple of months now. It will occasionally itch her where she scoots her butt across the carpet. She pees/poops good. No problem eating or drinking. What could it be? Should i take her to the vet? Pet's info: Dog | French Bulldog | Female | spayed | 2 years and 1 month old | 24 lbs

The dark area is likely just urine or saliva staining if she licks a lot. The area doesn’t look irritated but I would monitor her for signs of infection. Have her seen by a vet if she starts rubbing with more frequency or has urinary changes.
