My 15 years old German Spitz having cold blocked nostrils how can I treat it.?

Haidi does have to see a vet for this problem to get medication to treat her symptoms. Tonight, put her in a room with a humidifier or bring her into the bathroom when you take a shower. The steam from these may temporarily help with the blocked nostrils.

My dog has one nostril that is conjested. There is no discharge and he isn't acting sick, i.e., no fever, no skin discoloration he isn't acting fatigued. Is there something at home I can do before spending an outrageous amount of money at a clinic?
You could put him in a steamy bathroom or a room with a humidifier/vaporizer and see if that helps moisten any secretions and relieve the congestion. You could also try a saline nasal spray. Otherwise, he needs to be examined by a vet to determine the cause and treat. He may need an antibiotic and/or other medications and your vet can prescribe.

13 year old German shepherd with nasal congestion. Other than Benadryl what can be done/used?
Benadryl isn't used in dogs to treat nasal congestion, so I would not give it to Bruiser. The only medications available to treat nasal congestion in dogs are prescribed by a vet, and I would have him seen by a vet to get medications prescribed. You can try using a humidifier or bringing him into the bathroom with the door closed while you take a hot shower - the steam and humidity help to break up congestion and temporarily relieve symptoms associated with congestion.

I am sorry to hear about Muis. She needs to have an exam at her vet to determine what is causing the blockage. There can be a variety of causes ranging from infections with bacteria or fungus, an infection of a tooth root causing swelling or abscess into nasal passages, a nasal polyp, or a tumor. These would all be treated differently. In the meantime you can try steam treatments placing her in the bathroom while you run a steamy shower for 10-15 minutes, which may help if this is congestion due to mucus buildup.

what would be the best home remedy to remove dog's clogged nose if i don't have a humidifier?
Thanks for using Boop by Petco! You could try letting your shower water run warm/hot with the door closed which will result in steam concentrating in the bathroom and possibly helping Brain's clogged nose. You can try this for 10-15 minutes a few times a day. Good luck!

My dog is having trouble breathing out of his nose. Anything I can do?
Oh no, poor Buddy! This could be caused by an upper respiratory infection, fungal infection, foreign body, or a nasal tumor if he is an older dog. You can try putting him in a room with a humidifier, or brining him into the bathroom with you when you take a shower. The steam from these may help temporarily relieve any congestion he is experiencing. I would have Buddy seen by a vet in the morning . The vet can diagnose what is causing his difficulty with breathing through his nose, and can discuss treatment options with you.

Poor Bella! Her nasal congestion could be due to infection, allergies, nasal masses (benign or malignant) or foreign material in the nasal passages. One thing that you can try at home is to take Bella into a steamy bathroom for 10-15 minutes twice daily. However, if the nasal discharge continues or is yellow or green, she should be examined by her vet, as this could indicate infection.

What a cutie pie! I would try putting a humidifier in the room with him overnight or putting him in the bathroom while you run a steamy shower for 10-15 minutes to provide some beneficial moisture to his airways. If he develops discharge from the nose, coughing, eye discharge, decreased appetite, decreased energy these would be reasons to seek veterinary care. You can ask your vet if it would be ok to give him an antihistamine such as Benadryl or Zyrtec to see if it could be allergy related as well. We do use these drugs in dogs, but I always recommend checking with your vet before starting any new medication.

You could put a humidifier in the room with her and/or put her in the bathroom while you shower to moisturize her nasal passages and help her breath easier. She might also need an antibiotic and anti-inflammatory so you could have her examined by a vet to prescribe.

It sounds like Arya may have a mild upper respiratory infection - this is a common problem in puppies, and usually resolves on its own within 7-14 days. If her only real symptom is that she sounds congested in the mornings, you could try bringing her into the bathroom with you each morning while you take a hot shower - the steam and humidity often help to break up congestion and temporarily relieve symptoms. Using a humidifier in the room where she sleeps at night may also be helpful. If she develops other symptoms such as coughing, acting lethargic, or not wanting to eat, or if it's been more than 14 days with no improvement, I would recommend taking her to the vet for an exam, since she may need prescription antibiotics to treat the infection.
