Are my Corgi's bowed front legs normal? Should I see a vet?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Pembroke Welsh Corgi | Male | neutered | 26 lbs

I have a 1 year old Corgi. Maybe I am paranoid, but it looks like his front two legs are started to form inward more and more (see pic). I’ve heard this is normal for a corgi, but the angle worries me. Is this normal or what could this be? Should we have our vet take some xrays?

This type of leg conformation can be "normal" in Corgis. Hist left front leg seems more affected than his right. X-rays are always a good idea to make sure there is nothing concerning that can't be seen from the outside.
