My cat has a small red bump on her back. It seems like it may be itchy, as her hair is thinning a bit around the bump. Before I take her to the vet, I wanted to get an idea about what it could be. Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Female | spayed | 5 years and 10 months old | 15 lbs

Pets can get many types of lumps and bumps. Most of these tumors will be benign but some will be malignant and you can't tell by looks.
