My kitten has worms & coronavirus. Can she roam safely indoors?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | European Shorthair | Female | unspayed

Good day, I took in a homeless kitten around 7months old. A week ago she tested positive for coronavirus, she was given antibiotics. A day later she had worms in her feces. I dewormed her on Wednesday. Today I washed her, and I am wondering if it is safe to have her roam around my appartament or if I should have her isolated and if so for how long? Thank you

Jerry can walk around inside your apartment but not outside. She should not go outside until she is fully vaccinated and spayed. I recommend to ask your veterinarian about another deworming. Remember that certain worms can spread to humans so it's very important to treat all worms. I hope this helps.
