My dog is still having seizures on medication. What should I do?

My dog is a splitz breed two yrs old she had seizures since two days in the early hour i.e first day around 3am and second day around 4: 30 am. i visited a vet he advised phenytoin on first day but again she had the same

She will likely need to have dosages adjusted and potentially have additional anti-seizure medications given. I would call the veterinarian back and let the vet know the seizures are breaking through the current medication.
