My cat has been throwing up his food for two days and has begun a combination of gagging and hiccuping that seems to affect his breathing. What should I do?

I recommend taking Mufasa to the veterinarian. He may have aspirated some of his throw up if it is affecting his breathing. He may need antibiotics, treatment for the vomiting, and hospitalization if this is what is going on. Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
