Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 10 years old | 8 lbs
Recently, we've noticed that every time our cat goes outside, she spends 5-10 minutes rocking and yakking when she comes back in - no matter how long she was outside - even for just a minute. This starts immediately upon coming back inside. It is not very cold here, so weather does not seem to be a cause. Internet searches turned up nothing. Any idea what might be causing this? She had a URI in September, but has shown no symptoms for about 2 months.

That is odd. Could she be eating something or sniffing up particles while she is outside? If she is eating grass or another plant, that could cause it. If she is sniffing a dusty area or other area where things could be snuffed up her nostrils, that could cause it as well. Observe her very closely when she goes outside to see if you can figure it out.
