Pet's info: Dog | Australian Shepherd | Female | unspayed | 5 months and 7 days old | 26 lbs
Up until about a week ago, Sydney would eat her food within an hour or so of us putting it out. Now, she only nibbles and there is food remaining at dinner. We put one serving at 6 and one at about 17. If I scoop the food into my hand she will eat it quickly. She is teething; we have found a couple of teeth. She has plenty of chew toys and rawhide which she uses a lot. She is still full of vim and vigour and quite playful. It is really just the change in eating habits that is of concern.

If only Sydney could talk! It could be related to her teething. You may try soaking the kibble in warm water until it is softer. See if she will eat it that way. Its also possible you are feeding her too much. Puppies eat a lot while they are rapidly growing but then the growth slows down and they don't need as many calories (although they are still growing). If soaking the kibble doesn't help or if she begins to show any signs of illness, I recommend to have her examined by the veterinarian and checked for parasites. I hope this helps and please feel free to post any additional questions.
