Pet's info: Cat | European Shorthair | Male | neutered | 6 months and 30 days old | 7.5 lbs
Hello, my cat suddenly stopped using his back legs... He does not show any pain, he is still eating and pooing and playing but he cannot use them... We are super worried, the vet could not tell. Can it be an infection in the spine?

Make sure your kitten has an x-ray and you may consider testing for toxoplasmosis. Infections in the spine are possible. Most vets will test for this using a blood culture. An x-ray may also help show signs of an infection. Sometimes further diagnostics like an MRI or CT scan is indicated. other infections of the brain can also present as paralysis. If your vet can't figure it out, I recommend to have Mussel examined by a specialist. Best of luck and please feel free to post any additional questions.
