My 10-week puppy pees a lot and dribbles. Bladder infection?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

I just got a standard poodle puppy a week ago.. She seems to be urinating a lot and I don't know if this is behavioral or a possible bladder infection. She goes out and pees.. and then comes in and pees again..She has not pooped outside yet... but it is the peeing I am worried about because it seems to be a lot and she also dribbles She is 10 weeks old

Thank you for submitting your question regarding your puppy. I recommend that she sees her veterinarian for an examination and urine testing. It is important to differentiate between a medical problem and her learning how to be potty trained. A behavioral problem is most common at her age, but I do see urinary tract infections as well as congenital disorders. I hope this information helps!
