Why is my ferret lethargic with weak legs and possibly constipated?

I have a 3 year old ferret who has had a sudden onset of lethargy. I have sleep issues and he was without water for probably around 12 hours but when I finally got to him he seemed fine. Hes showing signs of weakness in his hind legs, appears to be in no pain after a physical examination by myself. He may be constopated as I havent seen any "results" from him over the last few hours and the area around his anus feels like a firm lump along with his naval line feeling firm. Pet's info: Small Animal | Ferret | Male | neutered | 2 years and 10 months old | 3 lbs

Hello. We do see several conditions & diseases in ferrets as they age, so it would be best to have Busta evaluated by your veterinarian. I do not think not having access to water for 12 hours caused any problems, it may just be coincidental that he feel ill after this.
